Ants

Ants often have nests close to houses and business premises that have food and liquids readily available such as clubs, bakers and restaurants. Ants will find a weakness in your building joints or mortar as they search for food and you can normally discover a number of ant trails leading between your property and their nest.

The nest can usually be found outside beneath patios and paving stones or in lawns and soil. Sometimes the nest can be found inside or in property walls. Worker ants can be seen forming trails from the nest to sources of food supply.

It is important to first identify which type of ant problem you have, and then provide the appropriate solution. The most common type is the black, or garden, ant but there are also red ants and pharoah ants.

We can treat your property with an insecticide which is both stainless and odourless. This treatment will be effective for the full ant season, normally from May to October. Our treatments do not stain the property and do not leave an unpleasant odour. Treatments will be effective for the season, which is normally from May to October.

In the case of Pharoah ants, it is also important to track down the Queen ants to help effectively eliminate the problem.
