Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs can be a serious problem in both domestic and commercial (e.g. Hotels) properties.

There is a significant bed bug problem in the UK which results in skin bites, irritation and raised reddish bite marks. Bed bugs feed on human blood and they can be active both day and night given the opportunity.

Bed bugs are a small brown oval shaped insect that can jump and climb surfaces. They can be found not only in beds but also in cracks in the wall or flooring. They can reproduce rapidly and need to be treated effectively to get rid of them.

In preparation for the treatment, all bedding needs to be removed and washed in a hot wash. Similarly, and clothing or rugs that are in the vicinity should also be hot washed.

We can then treat the affected rooms (this may take about 1 hour per room). We then ask you not to use the treated rooms for a few hours. Our treatments do not stain the property and do not leave an unpleasant odour. They are also perfectly safe for animals and humans. We then ask you not to clean the surfaces and floors for several days so that the treatment can take full effect.
