Rats & Mice
Rats and mice leave a trail of droppings and urine and, because they are constantly searching for food, these will often be in food and eating areas. If you identify that you have a problem with either rats or mice it should be dealt with as soon as possible as they not only breed at a rapid rate but they also can pass diseases to humans and other animals because of their urine and droppings.
Both rats and mice will look to build their nest indoors, usually either in lofts or under flooring. As well as transmitting disease, Rats also tend to gnaw at everything which can cause significant damage to your property including plastic pipes, woodwork and even electric cables.
Do not try and remove the nest yourself as this is more likely to spread the problem and make any treatments more difficult.
Our treatment programme includes traps and baits and we make sure that any treatment we undertake takes into account the property we are working on, and the presence of any children or domestic pets.
Treatment programmes will normally need a minimum of two visits, one to assess the problem and to lay the traps, and another tfor removal and to review results.
