Silverfish
Silverfish are long and slender, about half an inch long, and can be found in most place but, in particular, they prefer damp, moderate temperature places such as basements, laundry rooms, bathrooms, attics and under sinks.
Silverfish feed on mould, fungi, books, papers and wallpaper paste. They are fast moving and can travel throughout buildings but will tend to stay close to what is, for them, a good food supply.
Silverfish can be a problem all year round. They will be more active at night or in dark corners. They can cause damage to books, paperwork and even create holes in your wallpaper to get at the paste.
Our treatment includes the removal of any visible silverfish and their eggs, the treatment of any mould or fungi, and identifying any problems on the property that are encouraging the appearance of Silverfish.
